COSHH – Simple Green – Extreme Simple Green – Concentrate

Extreme Simple Green is a general purpose cleaner and degreaser which specifically does not damage aluminium components when at a concentration weaker than 1:13. Typically we use a concentration of around 5%, or 1:20, so it is safe for use on all metal components in the workshop.

In critical appications rinse parts thoroughly with clean water to prevent degreaser-related corrosion from trace amounts of Simple Green. See the Technical Datasheet for more information.

Required PPE

You must wear safety glasses when working with the concentrate or dilutions stronger than 12.5%.
PPE required: Gloves
Nitrile Gloves
People with sensitive skin may wish to wear nitrile gloves when working with this cleaner.

Concentrate and dilutions stronger than 12.5% are seriously irritating to eyes. You must wear eye protection when working with strong concentrations.

Usage Information

  • If using in the ultrasonic cleaner do not heat more than 40 degrees C as the cleaner will lose effectiveness.
