COSHH – Generic – Alcohol – Isopropanol

Drip-free Isopropyl Alcohol wash bottles (with swoop necks) are provided for general use, and should be used for day to day purposes. These do not need to be returned to the COSHH cabinet. If the wash bottle needs to be refilled please ask a member of technical staff.

Required PPE

PPE required: Gloves
Nitrile Gloves
Wear nitrile gloves while using alcohol and avoid splashes onto unprotected skin.
PPE required: Safety Glasses

When working in a manner which may present a splash hazard, in a confined space or in a position where fluid may come into contact with the eyes or face is you must wear safety glasses or a face visor.
