Waterjet Cutter Glossary

This low pressure pump pressurises the mains water up to a level suitable for the high pressure pump.

Pump water must be flowing before turning on the low pressure charge pump or damage to the impeller will occur.

The isolator for this pump is located on the front of the pump housing.

The High Pressure Pump is controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD) which allows it to run at configurable speeds. This variation in speed creates different output pressures.

The pump water must be turned on before turning the high pressure pump on or damage to the pump internals will occur.
