Out-of-hours Compressed Air

Press the red off button to turn off timer mode and keep the air compressors running continuously. Pressing the green on button will restore timer mode.

The compressed air in the SEE Building is on a timer - it automatically turns on at 7:30 AM to supply air throughout the day and turns off again at 8:00 PM.

This can be an issue if the CNC machines need to run on long jobs overnight - the air will turn off and they will alarm out in the middle of a cut.

To override this you need to either ask the building manager for out-of-hours air in good time, or set the control timer to the "Off" condition in the plant room on the 4th floor. The plant room is accessible via the goods lift, and requires a service key. You will need to be taken there by a member of the estates staff.
