COSHH - Swagelok - Blue Goop Thread Lubricant
This thread lubricant prevents galling and siezing of threaded components. It's especially important to use it when screwing stainless steel components together as they are prone to irreversibly seizing together.

Do not expose to excessive heat Overheating this material severely may cause the decomposition of the PTFE lubricant, potentially causing Polymer Fume Fever. Do not use on hot surfaces or expose to naked flames. |
Usage Information
- Make sure you wear gloves, and be careful what you touch - it will get everywhere.
- Use this thread lubricant sparingly. You don't need to use a lot for it to be effective. A thin coat on both male and female threads is sufficient.
