- Jog the probe head manually to a safe location, near the home position in the top-back-left corner. To do this, press the JOG ENABLE button on the pendant. Then use the joystick to move the probe head.
- On the PC, close CMM Manager. If you use the demo part, do not save any changes.
- Turn off the compressed air valve (CMM AIR) on the wall.
Warning: Do not jog the machine with the pendant when the CMM AIR valve is off. This will cause severe damage to the air bearings.
- Turn off the rotary isolator (CMM MACHINE POWER) on the back of the black control cabinet.
- Shut down the PC.
