Complete the training request form. You will be sent the information needed to start the training process.

By the time you have completed the three lathe training parts you should be comfortable machining basic turned parts on the lathe, and will be able to:

  • Change collet sizes and spindle liners suitable for the stock material
  • Use the tool probe to pick up the location of tools in the turret
  • Load and run programs from a USB drive
  • Program basic turned components using Autodesk Fusion, including:
    • OD turning
    • OD threading
    • ID turning
    • ID threading
    • Y-axis milling
