You only need to place the part roughly in the correct place on the surface plate and run the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demo Training Part<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the PC, open the file <strong>321ALIGNFIRST-demo-training-part.cmp<\/strong> from the desktop in <strong>CMM Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the training part onto the fixture with point 6 on the left, points 4 &amp; 5 at the back and 1, 2 &amp; 3 on the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switch to <strong>RUN MODE<\/strong> by clicking the blue running man in the top left of the window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>BATCH<\/strong> from the <strong>RUN<\/strong> toolbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up the batch window as follows then click OK.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of parts: 10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check \u201cExecute partial runs after initial run is finished\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start dropdown box: 005, Add Move<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check \u201cPrompt for Customer Data before batch executes\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Part Layout section select \u201cSingle Part Location\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the serial number entry window check \u201cApply same value to the next <em>x<\/em> program runs\u201d<br><em>The inspection program will now begin, starting with a 321 alignment routine.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Probe the training part at the points marked, in the order they are numbered (1-6).<br><em>Press the <strong>JOG ENABLE<\/strong> button on the pendant and use the joystick to move the probe.<\/em><br><em>Approach measurement point normal to the surface it is on \u2013 moving down in Z for points on the top surfaces, for example. Lock the axes you aren\u2019t using using the <strong>AXIS LOCK<\/strong> buttons on the pendant if required.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Move the stylus well clear of the part.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn the <strong>SPEED CONTROL DIAL<\/strong> fully counter clockwise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the PC <strong>DCC Mode<\/strong> will be flashing on the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the joystick icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will now be running in automatic mode.
