You must not leave the laser cutter unattended while it is running.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"hpb-item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/makeinsalford.com\/wiki\/wp-content\/plugins\/hazard-ppe-pictogram-block-v1.7.4\/assets\/pictograms\/fatal.png\" class=\"hpb-icon\" alt=\"Fatal hazard pictogram\" \/><div class=\"hpb-text\"><div class=\"hpb-title\">Hazardous Fumes<\/div><div class=\"hpb-desc\">The fumes created during the laser cutting process are dangerous. Ensure that the laser cutter extraction is turned on before starting work.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All three of our Epilog laser cutters operate in broadly the same way. This switch is located opposite the Technician&#8217;s Office as you enter the Maker Space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The extraction <strong>must <\/strong>be used when laser cutting &#8211; even if it&#8217;s the same type. The laser will finish the section it is working on and then stop and wait.
