The scroll saw is located in the Morson Engine Room and can be used for cutting plywood, plastics, and thin metal.
Safety
- Review the Safe System of Work for this machine before starting work.
- You must wear eye protection.
- You must not wear gloves when running this machine.
- Long hair must be tied back securely.
- Loose clothing must be tied back, loose long sleeves must be rolled up.
- Do not saw composites (carbon fibre, glass fibre, and similar.) You must use the machines with dedicated dust extraction in the composites laboratory.
