Spindle Liners (Haas ST-15Y)

Our lathe spindle has a bore size of 65mm - that is it can take an entire 65mm diameter bar through the spindle. To stop narrower bars from rattling around inside the spindle and causing damage there are a number of spindle liners that can be inserted to keep stock supported properly all the way along.

Do not run the lathe with bar material protruding into the spindle without the appropriate liner installed. There is risk of serious damage to the machine.

If you can't find an appropriate spindle liner make sure you ask a member of technical staff before proceeding with your work.
