Machine Problems

The machine won't start up - it complains about a missing operating system?

The firmware on the machine controller will try to load new software from any USB stick which is inserted into the machine at start up.

Turn off the machine with the POWER OFF button.
Unplug the USB drive from the USB socket on the side of the machine electrical cabinet.
Wait at least 30 seconds.
Press the POWER ON button.
Continue the startup procedure as normal.

Program/CAM Problems

Y-axis offset too small

This is an intermittent problem which only occurs for certain machine users. There can be a number of causes - it's tricky because sometimes a file which is exactly just exported at a different time will work perfectly fine. Ask a member of technical staff for help, but this is what we will recommend you try:

Move the lead-in linking position away from the origin position. The lead in arc may be causing the spindle to try and travel outside of the working area of the machine. You can also try to move the work away from the edge of your material slightly.
Post each operation as a separate file, and run these files separately.
