The spindle of this machine is a high-speed variety and must be warmed up before starting work. A warmup cycle is prompted when the machine is turned on, but should be performed again if it has sat unused for more than two hours.
Running a manual spindle warmup cycle
- Remove any tool that's in the spindle either manually using the release button or using the tool change function codes. The warmup cycle should not be run with a tool in the spindle.

- The spindle will now ramp up in speed over the course of 6 minutes.
