The stylus on this probe is sacrificial - it will preferentially break instead of damaging the more expensive probe body. Replacing the stylus is a simple but tedious process. | |||
The probe currently has a 100mm stylus installed, a spare is in the WIPS case stored underneath the mill. When ordering future styli please order the 50mm long version as below. | |||
